I'm WORTH a lot!

[REPOST] In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the question. "What kind of man are you looking for?" She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking, "Do you really want to know?" Reluctantly, he said, "Yes." She began to expound....."as a woman in this day & age, I am in a position to ask a man what he can do for me, that I can't do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care of my household without the help of any man. I am in the position to ask, What can you bring to the table? "The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money. She quickly corrected his thought and stated, "Im not referring to money. I need something more. I need a man who is striving for perfection in EVERY aspect of life. "He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain. She replied: "I am looking for someone who is 1. Striving for perfection mentally beacuse I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don't need a simple-minded man! 2. Striving for perfection spiritually because I don't need to be unequally yoked; believers mixed with unbelievers is a recipe for disaster. 3. Striving for perfection financially b/c I don't need a financial burden. 4. Sensitive enough to understand what I go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded. 5. Someone who I can respect. In order to be submissive, I must respect him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn't taking care of his business!! I have no problem being submissive...he just has to be worthy. "God made woman to be a helpmate for man." I can't help a man if he can't help himself. When she finished her spill, she looked at him.... He sat there with a puzzled look on his face. He said, "You're asking a lot." She replied, "I'm worth a lot!"

How Conceited :-)

Kahani mein twist ....
the ending should have been
She replied, " I'm worth a lot."

He Replied "Go to Hell......."

and he stopped pursuing the conceited girl and he lived happily ever after (with a less conceited girl.Off cource she was not the last girl on the third rock from the Sun.) whereas the girl is 47 and still looking at her endless list of desirable attributes LOL ....

It is so sad that regardless what a woman says about what she's looking for, someone is going to always have something negative to say. MY GOD, it's not like she said, I want him to be a millionaire, living in a mansion, driving a Bentley. What she requires is basically biblical stuff. A man, especially one who may become her husband one day should possess these qualities. When GOD created Adam, Adam was working and already had a place to live, so to speak. He didn't wait for Eve to have to do that. It's nothing wrong with a woman not wanting to be a financial burden, if that man desires to be the head-he has to make sure his household is taken care of. The woman is a helpmate-she walks side by side with him. He doesn't rule her and treat her like one of the children nor does she belittles and make him feel less than a man. I could say more, but I think this will suffice.
